Kisikahwskwe (Kylei Big Bow) is a member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe of Rocky Boy, Montana and Pueblo Laguna of Laguna, New Mexico. She grew up in rural Montana, most recently made New Mexico her new home. Kylei learned beading and sewing of traditional regalia at the young age of 8. She has been creating art and wearable pieces ever since. Her ambition to strive in the New World has brought a contemporary twist to traditional wear of Indigenous Peoples. She works hard to keep traditions alive and keep her work elegant.
Merle Big Bow (Papa/ Notahwiy), Artist, born and raised in Rocky Boy, Montana. A member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe of Rocky Boy, he is a well known artist in MT that started creating over 25 years ago. He is known for his painted feathers, carved antler sculptures, painted old age drums and war shields. He and his niywah, Nicole Big Bow started the family business over 18 years ago. Teaching and passing down the knowledge to their children.
